How big was the diamond in the engagement ring? If it is really big and he spent a lot of money, then he is serious. If he didn't give you a ring, then he is not serious.

If a guy proposes to u..he is obviously serious..
But i think ur Indian..and ur defination of 'propose' is - ASKED U OUT...rite??? and not the "proposed" as in marriage and ring and all...
Firstly thats not called proposed...he jus asked u out...
And if u seriously like him..then consider going out with him, get to kno him..and see if get along with him and if he truly cares for u...U'll kno soon enuf if he really likes u...

If your guy is serious in proposing you, he will have great regard for you. He will not be cheap and will not break your heart. He will love you and will always like you. are u serious first of all , will u be able to convince ur parents of ur affair later on ? if u can then only u can proceed. other wise de guy who luv u will be in deep trouble , .
