I'm not. But I can see how some people might fear the unknown.

No am not afraid of death But when my children were small I always ask God to let me raise them first . Now I want to be around for grand kids. So am I selfish or really afraid to die.

Everyone should be afraid of death to a certain extent. If anything, religion helps motivate humanity in a fashion that we *should not* be scared of death. However, inevitably we all fear death because we fear what we do not know.

I am afraid of it. I used to get so freaked that I couldn't fall asleep thinking I wouldn't wake back up. I think its the thought of never seeing my husband again not being able to experience all the things I want to in life before I die. And the thought of it just being completely over never speaking another word to anyone, Its really hard to explain. Finding God has helped me, but it is still scarey.

I'm no more afraid of dying than I am of going to sleep at night....there's really no difference, if you think about it.
