ASTM Color as specified in ASTM D1500 is a single number color scale for grading petroleum products.

The scale is defined by 16 glass standards of specified luminous transmittance and chromacity, graduated in steps of 0.5 from 0.5 for the lightest color to 8.0 for the darkest. It is intended for a variety of petroleum products such as lubricating oils, heating oils, diesel fuel oils, mineral insulating oil and solid petroleum waxes and has been adopted by other standardising bodies.

I have ALWAYS got straight 1s for french, throughout 3rd and 4th year. Today was a total letdown, and I actually had to MAKE up most of the answers. I am sooooo dissapointed about the listening! I came home, and cried :| reading was actually ok, so I hope that bumps the grade up a bit, but listening = nooooooo! I could hardly even make the CD out, as our volume was booming! I'm so going to complain to that stupid SQA if I fail that. Even our teacher found it hard, so what does that say for us 4th years? I really don't know :( these exams have all been rotten, and just can't wait till the summer ;)
