In answer to your question, the most immediate analergy that comes to mind is that of love being like a lighted match.
Furthermore, complaicency is an inherant part of human nature, and we often come to take the great things we have for granted, and also forget that 'love' is not a gift or something we receive, it's something we 'share'. I feel most people do not differentiate between giving and sharing.
I'm a great believer in Karma, and it's important to acknowledge that everything has it's life cycle, which means a beginning and end. I feel we should appreciate and be greatful for all of our experiences. I don't think there's enough page space for me to answer your question fully, but i will say that all to often we fall in 'lust' rather than 'love'. Finally, i think good love is like a flower, or a tree....... Sorry my answer became a short story.

Because everything grows and changes. Passion can ebb and flow depending on circumstances, but love grows richer and more complex every day.
Recognize that passion is not love and love is not passion, but that either without the other is a pale substitute.

That is erotic love that changes as you grow older because your consciousness has improved. The only person who did not change emotion of love is Jesus Christ whose love is companssion.
