My family and I moved to the States in 1990 and came back in 1992. When we got back to the UK, we registered at the local doctors and they were able to see us straight away.

Yes, I live abroad and when I was home last year, I was ill and I just went to my doctor without a problem, in fact I was in hospital and still had no problems, she is still British, she may have to re-register depending where she lives.

Certainly she can, she just has to register with a doctor and dentist and then she can go back to where she was befor she left. We always welcome back our `lost sheep` to the flock!
