It sounds like the old debate I had in philosphy class decades ago. The opossing team set out to prove there was such a thing as time, and my side had to prove there was not. They had al types of measurements and theories, degrees, time frames and such. I simply asked an obovious question---if there is such a thing as time, why do you gain a day whenever you cross the international date line or loose one depending whichever way you're traveling,or why is there a leap year, or why can you move time up or down depending what time zone you're in, you know questions like that. We argued all there is ------is the space and volumn you occupy. Now take that a step futher with the world's greatest scientist espousing on the "BIG BANG" theory or whatever is THE THEORY now and the one cell amoeba ask that one simple question WHO or What made it and where did it stem from. If you say gases or chemicals well how did that get started?? Some where there is an author for this book of life, and a large segment of mankind would refer to them as GOD!! So you need not worry about consoling your friend, but you might want to rethink your OWN VIEWS!!

What's a Chrsitian? Come on now, you know you don't have 1 friend (or freinds, in your case), let alone 3. I've seen your questions. If you convinced anyone of anything, those people have bigger problems than not believing in God.

Why should he feel guilty? After I found out Wicca was fake I felt stunned and decived and as though I had been lied too (I had in fact, Wicca was fabricated in 1950, not a Stoneage religion like the books at that time claimed!). Since I was a victim, feeling guilty didn't cross my mind. If your friend felt he had been decieved, I'm sure he would feel anything but guilty.
So, I tend to doubt your story. Sorry.

And I convinced 3 Chrsitians freinds, etc., and does anyone believe I have 3 friends, etc., and I used to watch Friends on NBC etc., and those people were my friends, etc., and I was in love with Jennifer Aniston, etc., and the Christians aren't dumb enough to believe me, etc., maybe I should get out more, etc., make a real friend, etc., Jennifer Aniston, etc., I like her a lot, etc., and my right hand cramped up, so I switched to the left, etc.,

LOL....IF there were no GOD then there would be NO guilt!
Animals do not feel guilty. If you think they do, just watch a cat play with a mouse before it kills it.
As far as convincing a Christian to deny GOD, they were not Christians any more then a $20 bill off from a home printing press would be money.
If the guilty person was indeed a Christian he/she can always return to HIM by using 1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2 Timothy 2:13
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Get out of his life. While I have my doubts about "god" I do not doubt the comfort that ones religious beliefs bring to people. I would never take that away, just as I will not allow anyone to force their religion on me.

There isn't any way to comfort him. He had found his comfort in believing in Christ and you took that away from him.
Remember, everyone has a right to believe (or not believe) in whatever they choose. Live and let live. If you feel fulfilled in convincing your friends that what they believe is wrong, then so be it...but don't expect them to bounce back and be completely emotionally ok right away...or quite possibly ever.

Tell your friends what you did, and that you are feeling guilty for them, and maybe to go and speak to their pastor or go to a church to speak to someone about God
