I'm wanting my wedding to have a somewhat mystical feel, I've always been attracted to elvish type themes. It's going to take place outside at evening. So even something elegant sounding, just not so classical sounding. Our reception is going to have a moon & stars theme to it as well.

My problem is that the traditional sounding "Here comes the Bride" is so classical. My fiance really wants that to be the song I walk down to, & I'm leaning more towards that as well. But I'm wondering if there's a version someone has done to the song for me to walk down the aisle on.

I've looked through google, amazon & even been through singingfish.com a few times and just can't find one that has the right feel that I'm looking for . . . I found one song I like for the point he and I walk off as husband&wife by a Shaun Paul

so if you know of any that are similar to it please let me know!!

Thank you so much!

While I like the harp Ideas I really don't see them being available to me (the area I'm in is not that... "special" for lack of a better word to have harps at their schools) Also I sorta am looking for more then one instrument to be playing. Thank you for the suggestions so far!!

Firstly, congratulations! I love your theme idea.

I'm liking the shaun paul version you posted, its a little different but still nice. Has a 'magical' feeling to it.

If you know any musicians try asking them to have a play around with it and arrange it differently.

All the best for your big day

i'd suggest finding a harpist to play for you. i play the harp (beginner..heh, not too well) so i've seen lots of books with wedding songs in them. a harp naturally has that mystical, romantical feeling to it. but, if you want a really sweet sounding one, try to find a harper who plays a celtic harp (there is s difference in the construction and the way the notses are changed.) other than that, talk to your local highschool's orchestra conductor about having them arrange the wedding march for you, adding in the chimes, like that pretty version you posted!! good luck!!!

I was going to suggest a harp, too!

Your theme sounds wonderful!

Best wishes!
