Ladies do you think chivalry is dead into today's society.
It seems in today's society women dont likes guys to have a sense of chivalry. (i.e like opening doors for her, standing up if she enters or leaves the room, pulling and pushing her chair for her, walk her to her car or door, Et cetera, Et cetera.)

No I don't think so! I am still meeting people like this! It's true that nowadays, women have become more independent, but this doesn't mean that they've given up being romantic!
There are still men outside who know how to behave!

I don't know hubby, but are you one of them??

My husband opens the door for me, waits for me in the parking lot when I come home from my graveyard job, kisses me each time I come and go, and things like that. This is after 12 years of marriage mind you. I personally think that chivalry is mostly dead but that is because fathers aren't involved in the raising of their children as much as in the past. Before if a woman got pregnant the couple got married and raised the children together. It is very hard to find men who think chivalry is important...but again I think that's only because women have lowered their expectations. I personally do not want my husband to stand when I enter or leave a room, but opening doors and pulling/pushing chairs are welcomed.

I honestly believe that the feminist movement was more of a hindrance to females than a help. Yes, some things in the work place changed, but overall women lost their "status". That being said, nothing will impress me more than a man with manners, who treats everyone with respect, but especially the woman he loves. Men are visual creatures, their drives are motivated by their sense of sight. Nothing wrong with that. Women are creatures who are motivated more by the way they are treated and what they hear. Want to impress or turn a woman on? Do it with the things you say to her and keep chivalry a part of your life.

No I don't think that is the case. Some New Zealand men were still chivalrous, the last time I was there in 1998. But who knows now eh...

I don't think that it's dead. I can see why you would think so though. My fiance does all of those things and I love it!
