Stealing Cable is illegal, especially if you aren't sure how to do it.

If you want to run a splice to another video set, call your cable company to send out a professional to do it for you. Otherwise, don't do it yourself. Video cable - particularly digital service is very sensitive, they CAN detect when someone is tampering with the connection.

The Cable Technician usually calls in to let the Cable Company know when and what he/she is doing when they are servicing a customer's Line.

In the USA stealing cable can get you fined very severely in addition to getting sentenced in prison.

cheers babe !!!

You don't want to create a crosswire cable if you have a switch or router.

Use this or any other tutorial to create your run of the mill CAT5 cable.
