The engine is WORTH $500 or the engine repair will COST $500? If it still needs the body and engine work I'd guess you're looking at about a total worth of $50.

Spend the $500 to fix the engine and then sell the car for $2500.

i dont think you will have very much luck on selling the car for that much if the engine is dead and the car has had a tree fall on it it sounds like you may be at a total loss on this one

A toyota of that year and that condition will bring about $20.00 at a junk yard! No one in their right mind would pay any more than that! Hell, thats pure profit as you got the car for free!!!!

Honestly I wouldnt buy a car for that much if it didn't work! What I think you should do is fix the engine then sell it.

in case you're in great Britain, definite, it is!! If the motor vehicle is on finance, it is easily owned by way of the finance corporation, until the debt is easily paid off. hence, it can't be legally bought until the finance is cleared. The regulation may well be diverse interior the united statesA., yet it is Y!A U.ok. and eire, regardless of each thing...

So you put $2500 into something and want $900 for it. Remind me not to ask you to give me financial advice. Unreal.
