White lightning is a generic term for grain alcohol and they do make and sell it it's called Everclear which is 190 proof pure grain alcohol. Moonshinners call it white lightning but there are so many recipies and sugar based liquor that quality of back woods white lightning is questionable. if you wanna know more im me

As noted above is is made. However a lot of state liquir stores do not carry it anymore. Virginia does not as I tried a few months ago. The tax stamp on it was unreasonable and it is a hazard if used wrong. Generally it is intended to be cut down with "flavors"

They do...it's called "Georgia Moon" and it's sold in mason jars. Look for it in your local liquor store in the whiskey section.
