A mate and I fancied the same girl so made a silly bet on who would get her first. She invited me out and after a romantic evening just as it was about to happen in respect for her I mentioned the bet not wanting her to find out afterwards. To be honest you probably should'nt have made the bet in the first place-bet you feel like a right knob for having wrecked your chances with her over a silly bet...
She will get over it if she really likes u and it will happen...women want honesty WHAT A SHOCK!

Your honesty was commendable but your timing was obviously miscalculated. Girls generally want a guy who will try as best as he could , to be respectful and truthful AT ANY COST to her, ask her how she is feeling on a daily basis, and a hug on a daily basis too :)
