We use God as an excuse for things that we cannot explain. The truth is, there is absolutely NO evidence in support of the existence of God.
Science can explain most miracles, but that doesn't mean that they have no significance. They happen just the right way, at the right time, that they truely are miraculous.
Not all divine occurences have to literally be divine. They can be divine simply because they are so beautiful.

The question "Where did I come from"? does not preclude the question "where did God come from"? . Which begs a whole number of other questions such as what was god doing before he created man? Was man a bright idea to relieve boredom?
Your question can not be answered rationally. To believe and to know are two different words with different meanings. And do not take the word "believe" too lightly. It is different yet to the word "I think". Once you have pondered those notions and have given definitions to the above, then ask the question again. Now, I believe I'll have another beer!

if you don't have any real idea about when a miracle is going to happen, then i see that as being no more relevant than if, it was just a coincidence. Why should anyone look to god or Muhammad or budda or whoever when none of them are any closer to us than strangers. why should i have faith in anything that i can't, really smell, see, hear, or touch. that to me is blind faith that i can't make sense out of. science, history and mathematics to me is the key to verifiable knowledge about ourselves and our universe. and if religion is so effective why don't sick patients get there illnesses cured in a church, instead of going to the hospital. Which bases all of it's advanced technics on medical science. do you ever read history books of scientists going into major wars over there theories. catholics and Protestants fought for over 120 years. countless other killings and wars have been fought over religion. i think religious writings should always be taken lightly. most of it is not very definitive, and left for personal interpretation anyways.

Honestly man, this site wont give you a definitive answer on your subject. You have a very broad question, and 9/10 times your just going to have people not answer your question, but rather preach. That question is something that you and only you can answer. But, if you want my opinion, sure then. I dont believe there is god, nor any supreme force that governs us. Im a Jew by culture, but only by culture. This is a question that we all ask ourselves, its nice to know that someone is willing to be open-minded though.

There is no evidence to support either the existence or non-existence of god. It provably follows from this that nothing that one can do or decide with respect to god can have any effect in the real world, so the simplest thing to do is to suppose that there is no such thing.

Yes there is and I am sure he is getting tired of getting blamed for all the crap that goes bad. The good and bad is all a product of our collective free will. That is until we go so far that we piss him off and he does another " Pompeii" event

Nope. Not in my opinion.
This said, it's obvious that I don't experience your same problem since I don't praise/curse anyone for what happens in my life;)

I intensely believe that there is God. Simply look around and you will see the evidence of his existence.
