Yes, playing hard to get works. To a point. There's a point where it creates the chase. Then there's the point where he gives up. Don't go quite that far... The relationship DOES need to make progress and if you don't provide some encouragement, he'll easily see that you're not interested.
However, do you really want to settle down with someone who you'd be "satisfied" with? What happened to love?

This happened to me and I was getting played big time. I don't think they play hard to get. When a guy likes you you can't get rid of them - they will do what they can to be with you. If he is acting distant there is a reason. Forget him and move on.

It works forever on morons and blinkered f*cks and nerds. You saud he has been chasing you so stop right there. With me as a gu y i will only chase a girl for a reasonable time , for me three occassions, that includes fonecalls visits and texts, if the bird still not landed I move on, and usually the formula is reversed, they do the chasing from that point. if he stops chasing you and goes to another girl dont be posting ''Please help me'' quetions on yahoo when you threw yourself in quik sand. a guy who chases for too long is usually a desperate knucklehead who will give you problems in the relationship. This other girl tried to play that on me, i only chased her for long to prove to my boys i could get her and handed her a cold heartreak just to show her even if i chased her for long, it can take me a day to dump her. See.. if you girls play games we follow suit

way frickin cool, sounds like you guys as a couple are goin "old school" on each other, not over callin each other or textin , givin each other space and just lettin it happen. and apparently both of you know the chase is on. dont rush any thing and let that respect and trust for each other build up, you'll both be happier in the end.
besides relationships that are built on sex do not last
enjoy the chase and best of luck

Depends on the guy really, sometimes playing hard to get really turns off the insentive. The guy may be saying " maybe shes not interested", and start asking why you are doing that. He also me be thinking many other things " Why isnt she talking to me" maybe one.
A girls mind is complex, but the girl is also human. A Guy is human. So Human minds are complex, hense guys minds are complex.
Good luck

Playing hard to get doesn't work. If the guy is like me, he'll go find someone else.
