When you talk about being liberal like westerners, do you mean to say that have sex every now and then with quite few around and try out who's the best in bed. Thanks goodness!! We are not. No wonder there are more divorces in the west than in India. Different form of sexual pleasures coming up like BDSM, torture, fetsihism, etc. are due to that kind of liberty of sex.
Kamasutra is a script based completely on various techniques involved in sex. A few wise men in those early days studied sex to the depth and laid out the few ways of enjoying sex. It had nothing to do with this kind of liberty.

didn't we teach the world the kamasutra? so the west is no comparison to indians.
and what exactly u mean by sexually liberal?
i am proud to say that we indians have certain strict beliefs and sentiments about sex.
and we adhere to those human relationships/inhibitions and respect the same too.
but that definitely doesn't make us be labelled as being not liberal.

I would say that Indians are Sexually aware... They want sex...and they long for sex as much, or much more than westerners.
But the Culture does not permit them to be liberated about sex, or topics related to sex.
That is why, where there is anonymity, most questions on sex are from Indians - like this one!!

Generally NOT. But there are always exceptions to this and there is a considerable number of people who are openly or stealthly open to the idea of sexual liberty.

prostitutes have sex with more than one. What you call liberated is actually acting like prostitutes. In India we like to have sex only after marriage with spouce. We dont jump to bed everytime we meet a person of opposite sex to explore.
