My daughter is in year 2 in primary school, at the end of the school year she comes home with all her school books and craft she did that year. There is so much but I would like to keep something, especially from kindergarten year.
Any suggestions? Thank you! ; )

I keep some things, mostly art work and crafts made in school, or any stories my kids wrote. The rest I throw away. I feel guilty throwing the stuff away, but they will come home with so much stuff it is impossible to keep it all.

Keeps the crafts. They will always be precious and full of memories for you and your daughter. With the books, if you have no use for them, try and donate them to either needy children who will come to your daughter's old school, or to a charity like Goodwill who can sell them and use the money to help others. This act will teach your daughter an important lesson about how people should teach each other.

Go to Costco and buy a 3 pack of scrapbooks and cut and paste to your hearts desire. I'm in high school and I did that with all my elementary school keepsakes and now I will always have a reminder of how I've grown and progressed. I also include report cards and awards, certificates, programs from plays/concerts that I've been in, etc. It will be a great set of books to look back on one day when she is older. If a piece of art is 3D or two big to fit on the page then take a picture of it and print it off in large picture format. Then on the same page write a little text box about the piece of art (who, what, where, when, why, how, etc).

My daughter is in kindergarten and she went to preschool. I know about the many many drawings, paintings, artwork, letters and numbers, Just want to keep them all!! We went to a pizza restaurant and paid $2 for a couple clean large pizza boxes. then we decorated it and they hold a lot of papers in a neat package. We just label the front panel so that when we stack them, it is easy to see what grade or year it is from. As for the text books. Just keep them if you have book shelves, I never throw away a book and still have some of mine from school. Love reading some of the books to my daughter now.
Have fun.

I've never gotten to take any of my school books home with me at the end of the year, the school kept those. But I got to take any crafts or art things that I made. Some of it my parents through away... but some things I still have... like a hand print thing I made in kindergarten, a mask I made in 4th grade, some paper I made in 1st or 2nd grade, a journal that we had to write in every morning at school, in like 2nd grade, and any reports that I've done in any grades.... we kept that stuff.

Put them in boxes and store them in the loft or garage. They are things that you can look back on and have a laugh with her when she is older. I have all my sons books from when he started nursery. Its great looking how he has improved in life.
Well its up to you atthe end of the day, do what you feel is right.

Well keep your most treasured crafts and all but then maybe if the books aren't written in you could sell them.
