ok when shy girls like a guy, how do they act when hes around? do they always make it obvious?

They might look away / not be able to look into your eye, and most likely avoid you altogether. A lot of the time, people take this as an insult but that's not always true - They're just hiding their blushing face from your eye sight. Good luck, bro.

People don't "always" do anything.
In other words, all people are different. Some may keep a crush locked up for their whole lives and never say anything.
I get the feeling you are shy and don't want to approach a girl who isn't making it "obvious". If you like someone, tell them. Think of it this way:
If you talk to 100 beautiful girls, you might just kiss a beautiful girl. If you don't talk to any beautiful girls, you will never kiss a beautiful girl.

With shy girls it is never obvious, but they do give hints. A experienced person can take the hints and act on it. But be gentle and do not act directly, they do not like, and they will run away. U also should play her game and do things indirectly.

Ive found Shy girls do one of 3 things when they like a guy:
#1. Totally hide it. You'd never know.
#2. Get even more bashfull around him. Lots of blushing, lots of stumbling over words, wont look at him etc
#3. Get all weird in a bid for his attention. They will talk too loud, make strange comments etc

this just happened to me yesterday, i am only shy in front of guys that i like. and i act like a retard i swear. u should see me. i repeatedly do these random things. like for example, i will look around the whole place EXCEPT for the particular spot that he's in. and my friends say thats obvious. i always fold my hands behind my back, i have no idea why. i always pull my shirt at my shirt. if im playing basketball ill suck at it. if hes around ill probably be all mute. its a lot of things. im not shy, just around him =] and i have had soooo many oppurtunities to have a conversation with him but i ignore them, and i always try to avoid him. i never even want to WALK in front of him. i am reallly paranoid.

tough question , I'm kinda shy but outspoken when it comes to online . the girl may talk a bit more to you then she would others... or avoid you lol shy girls are kinda hard to figure out even still girls talk! so talk with her friends I'm sure she told someone is she likes you. you can always talk to her more n let her know you like her she may even shock you n not be so shy

Got 4 words for ya: MAKE THE FIRST MOVE!!!! It's already hard enough for a shy girl to make eye contact with people in general. Therefore, it's harder for her to make eye contact with the guy she likes. It's very rare for them to make eye contact with him, and she might also tries to avoid you everytime she sees you. And it might b hard for her to talk to you too cause she doesn't want to feel embarassed in front of u-- so she watches her words. Make sure she doesn't say stupid stuff in front of u that will makes her embarassed or looks stupid. It might seems like she is avoiding you or not interested in u, but the truth is she wants you....
So like I said, the game is in ur hand, u NEED to let her know that u interested in her n' make the first move.

uhm... they shy even more.. with me, i ignored the guy.. but be aware it was unintentional. i think shy girls are just a bit more aware of themselves than everyone else and are sort of more self concious about the way they act and how people see them. because of this, he thought i hated him. oops ...
what else... ooo, they seem to be looking at you, but as soon as you turn to them, they arent. i did that alot.. i tried to be subtle in the way i looked at him.. didnt wanna make it seem like i was gaping or anything and when he turned to look at me, boom, my head was in a book.. or looking the other way.
sometimes you gotta look for changes like tone of voice. i know with me i was alot louder when he was around hoping to catch his attention and when i did.. and he obviously notices.. i sort of.. clammed up and thought, dammit! he thinks im a loser.. and then i'd go a bit quiet and he'd try to strike up a conversation and i'd just smile and give one word answers which led him to think that i hated him even more.
i think in a way it was sort of what i wanted because i was shy.. it was like.. does he like me? okay just act normal *goes psycho*.. shoot, did he notice.. yes he did.. but he's not saying anything, WHEW he doesnt like me.. but.. thats not good..
and then i run off plucking out each and everyone of my hairs on my head. har har.. shy girls act different from outgoing ones.. they dont tend to show feelings as much because they're afriad of what others or most importantly the guy would think.. so they keep it to themselves and when they decide maybe just MAAAYBE they have a chance to get you to look at them.. well, they just do something unplanned and unTHEM and end up thinking the world is over because they just made a fool of themselves.. well for me anyway.
oh and look out for bashful, blushing ones. hehehee.. thats a giveaway =]
