Oh please! These bands have nothing to do with Satan! Don't you think God has better things to do with his time then worry if you're listening to supposed Satanic music. It's NOT Santanic. It's a song. God has bigger fish to fry, believe me.

If anything, He might rebuke you if you bought that Paris Hilton or Ashlee Simpson cd. They're careers (using that word loosely) is proof that the devil does indeed make pacts with mindless morons.

And yes...the last part is a JOKE! They're more of Satans minions than anything. lol

Where is Satan the focal point in these lyrics?
Have you ever listened to the song?
Get a grip people!

War Pigs...............................
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death construction

In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds

Oh Lord Yeah!
Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the way
Why don't the go out to fight?
They leave that up to the poor

Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait till their Judgment Day comes

Now in darkness world stops turning
Ashes where the bodies burning
No more War Pigs have the power
Hand of God has struck the hour

Day of Judgment, God is calling
On their knees the War Pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan laughing spreads his wings

Oh Lord yeah!

Maybe you should actually listen to the music before worrying whether someone else likes it. Just because the have a name with religious overtones doesn't mean their music has any religious significance.

The song war pigs for example is about the military leaders huddled in the safety of some remote bunker while sending other off to do the fighting.

Dur!
Are you for real? Are you serious?
Oil and water cannot mix just like a true born again Christian with Satanic music cannot/will not/ should not mix at all. These people/bands that you just mentioned praise the Devil, they live for the Devil, as you said that music advocates Satan as the focal point.
Glorify God, praise God, worship God with Gospel music if not you're decieved into thinking you can listen to such music and still be saved. Come now, let us reason together. Know the truth and the truth shall set you free

The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit testifies of truth. If there is no truth in the lyrics, you will not feel the Holy Spirit. Then of course the question will be, what spirit are you feeling, and is it worth it to even be open to feeling that kind of spirit. You might want to search out Christian rock instead. Have a happy day, and I send you a gummy bear.

If you're bothered by it, then you have the freedom of choice to do the following:

1) Stop listening to your type of music; or

2) Stop listening to your belief.

Only you can decide on this matter.

Yes. It matters to God what kind of music you listen to because what a person does, and what a person approves of, and what a person gets involved with, shows what's in their heart. (Luke 6:43-45) True Christians are told at 1 Corinthians 10:31: "Therefore, whether you are eating or drinking or doing anything else, do all things for God's glory."

Someone who has love for God would want to avoid anything to do with the Devil or his demons. Christians are told to "oppose the Devil" and to draw close to God. If a person listens to Satanic music, then can he or she really say that they are drawing close to God or that they are opposing the Devil?

James 4:7,8 says: "Subject yourselves, therefore, to God; but oppose the Devil, and he will flee from you. Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you indecisive ones."

The Devil uses many things to draw people away from worshiping God in the right way and "bad association" through music and people who oppose God, is one of the things he uses. (1 Corinthians 15:33) He uses many things to corrupt the minds of people, just as he used cunning to corrupt Eve's thinking, so that she would sin.(2 Corinthians 11:3)

The apostle Paul gave strong counsel to the early Christians so that they do not get "overreached by Satan," he said at 2 Corinthians 2:11: "We are not ignorant of Satan's designs."
(Ephesians 6:11-18)

Also, 2 Corinthians 6:14 says: ".....For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness?" And verse 17 says: "Therefore get out from among them, and seperate yourselves," says Jehovah, "and quit touching the unclean thing'"; "and I will take you in"." So Christians are urged to keep away from darkness, which includes anything Satanic or demonic, and to "quit touching the unclean thing" which would make us want to avoid anything unclean in God's eyes to be acceptable to God.

There's such a variety of music out there, I'm sure there is something else that you can listen to that you'd enjoy. If you are concerned, it's better to not do something that you think may be wrong, than to live with a guilty conscience. But it is very commendable of you, that you care if something is wrong in God's eyes. When you take notice of God it makes Him happy. (Proverbs 3:5,6)

Hell scares the crap out of me. Hell raisers are real. Hell is the most opposing thing to the soul, Horror. It's called fire because it is the only thing that human minds can compare the pain to.Evil is very real! Stay clear of it or you may find yourself possessed and in bondage, your worst nightmare.

If you are a christian, why do you want to entertain Satan? Does not make sence. Get real and stop listning to music from hell, as you will end up finding yourself there one day. I listen to worship cds as it is the only music I now listen to.

Why do you listen to such music? Are we not taught to always be edifying?

Here's a better question. Are you saved? If not, then don't worry about what music you listen to, you have a lot more important things to worry about.

If you are, see first two questions above.
