aIf we were born in sin, and personally I don't adhere to that, then all of us UNLESS we totally accept the teachings of the King James Version of the BIBLE , are doomed. If God sent his son to die for our sins, then how can we born in sin? Please remember that the Bible was written by man under the direction of God, but also remember that it has been translated by so many different sects, that the best we can hope for is a rough translation. By the way King James had his priests translate in such a manner that it addressed issues of his time and kept the "masses" under CONTROL. Actually the Jewish religion and the Muslim are probably the closest to the true translation. Judaism Muslim, Christianity all share common roots and basic beliefs, just different doctrines, Judaism and Muslim do not adhere to Jesus as the Messiah

There is no such thing as original sin. No baby is born guilty just for being human.
The absurdity of original sin was clearly seen by Pelagius. But St. Jerome saw that the Church was in danger of losing one of its weapons for controlling people, so he warned St. Augustine that Pelagianism had to be stopped.
So they sent Germanus from Gaul with a bunch of soldiers and wiped out the Pelagian movement by killing the people who believed it. The result was that the doctrine of original sin was forced on the entire Christian church by violence, and the idea was established as orthodoxy which continues to this day.
But it's wrong. Pelagius was right. There is no original sin.

I think christians have the believe that cos Adam sin then all of us are sinners. but according to the christians believe Jesus is sinless because he was born without a father.So. he is sinless. But he was born by Mary. This still don't take away the sin of Jesus because of Mary is also sinful(desendant of Adam. Now how do we reconcile.Sin is a sin you are expected to seek the almighty the Lord for forgiveness. We Muslims do it at least 5 times a day.In our prayers.God is always forgiving.Just imagine do we commit all the time knowingly or unknowinly.Christians get their sins waive by Jesus .Just can't swallow the believe.

You are correct in that we are separated from God due to original sin. Any religion or following which teaches that we can get to heaven by our works is of Satan. Thankfully Jesus didn't come to establish a religion but rather to establish a relationship between God and man. The Bible tells us that in the last days men would depart from the truth and follow after false doctrines and we see this is evident in the number of false "religions" which exist today. The Muslim religion is just one more example and today one person in under five in the world is a Muslim. The whole Muslim religion was just another one based on nothing more than the claim of one man that he had a vision etc., etc., God's last word to mankind was the book of Revelations and after which there were no more visions, miracles etc., and we are warned in the Bible not to believe everything which appears to be a miracle as the Lord knows that Satan can perform them also. Satan is a master of the art of forming and promoting false religions as he knows that he is taking these people to hell with him and why not? During the great tribulation Satan will give power to a statue and cause it to speak so that the people will hail him as god. Of course he knows how to create visions etc., and have people follow false beliefs including the false teaching that denies original sin. Its hard to believe that there are soo many Bibles in the world today and so few who will read one for themselves. The Lord holds all men accountable and unless they stand before him clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ they are doomed. The Lord makes it very clear when he stated that there is no other name given under heaven among me whereby they must be saved but the name of Jesus.I recently spoke with a Muslim who told me that he was fasting and performing all sorts of religious rites yet he didn't know why he was doing this but his religion told him that he had to. Im left wondering just how many Muslims perform these rites out of nothing more than fear and peer pressure. The real tragedy is that these same people are not saved and presently stand condemned before the Lord as per John 3:18 which were the words of Jesus himself.

regardless of the nature of the original sin you are talking about Muslims don't believe on the children carrying the burden of their father sin.
In Islam we think that all children are born Muslims and if they die during childhood they will go to heaven. While some Christians believe that a dead Christian kid who died during childhood will go to hell if he was not baptized.
God bless

Because religion is religion. Its all fake. Its there for you so you can look for a place to go when you die instead of just lying there in dirt, totally zoned out.

I would guess because their faith doesn't believe in original sin. Every faith has different ideas and concepts. I guess that is one of theirs.

According to your religion, something something original sin, that's great. According to your religion. Would you try repeating those words for me? "According to my religion".
There are thousands of religions; each claims to be true.
Now, if you understand that you think yours is true and others are false, and others think theirs is true and others are false, you can answer the second part of your question (actually, your question - the first part wasn't) yourself.
