Personally, I'd discourage it if he/she was hard-core and disrespectful to my daughter/son's beliefs, and probably be worried about my grandchildren's beliefs/souls if they were ever to marry and have children.. But if he was open-minded and accepted our religion, i wouldn't care. I dated out of my religion once and I hang around with non-christians all the time.

NO, because I feel it is not their place to judge others on this earth, and ideas different from theirs are all around them, some good, some bad. They have their own minds, and just because someone is an Atheists don't mean they cannot be a good, kind loving and compassionate person. I have known many so called Christians who were mean spirited.unkind, selfish hate mongers, that would love to see others fail in order to make theirselves seem important or better than others, even in my own family all for the cause of Christianty!! How many wars have been and still are being fought in that nobel cause? I'd rather my kids hang out with a good person that happened to be an atheists than a devil in the front pew of the church!!!

Atheists would you stop your kids from hanging out with or dating Christians?

As long as the atheists weren't involved in self-destructive behaviors such as drinking and drugs, I would want my children to make friends with as many different people as possible. Have a happy day, and I send you an atheist gummy bear (if there is such a thing).

Im not christain or into organized religion, but I would date an atheist because I could help them form a spritual connection with the universe. Pyscheldelic trips and meditation can turn an atheist into a spritual person

My fiance is "christian" i suppose. Although in Europe they're more open minded. So he doesn't mind that I'm atheist and neither do his parents. He's happy I can think for myself and make my own decisions. Plus his parents think I'm the sweetest little angel they ever met.

Dating, YES. Hanging out with? Not if they were doing it so that they could witness to them.

Hanging out with? No, I wouldn't stop them.

Dating? I wouldn't flat-out stop them, but I would strongly discourage it.

But I wouldn't worry about them ending up married to an atheist -- because sooner or later, their religious differences would become so obvious that they'd never make it to the altar.

Or to the city hall, which I presume is where most atheists marry.

I would, but only if they tried to force their belief, or lack thereof on my kids. If they were to respect my children's faith, then I would have no problem with it.
