Believe it or not, the Bible gives guidance on this. See Leviticus 18:14 "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt."

And other sexual relationships relating to close kin are discussed, and what's not OK...

Now, you can say this is just a lot of Biblical mumbo jumbo, but, it's interesting to note what happens when these principles are discarded. Children are born with some serious afflictions. The problems with offspring born of varied forms of incest are documented and often cannon fodder for comedic jokes..

A previous responder (above) raises a good question: "Don't you have a natural tendency to puke at the thought ? "

Interestingly, the answer is often 'no'. What I've observed is that the farther people stray, the less repulsive things seem that were once considered repulsive. Also, as more of the populace strays, pressure to accept those--who practice what was once repulsive--begins to mount.

For example, only 40 years ago, the vast majority of the populace's sexual orientation was hetero, and between consenting adults. Other acts were considered naturally repulsive. But today, if you criticize folks who practice same sex, or the same sex act, you'll be labeled a basher or phobic. And you will experience pressure to apologize or pay in some way. Even my candid discussion of this topic in a polite way puts this response in danger of being deleted fom Yahoo Answers.

If the trend continues, then the populace's revulsion for other sex acts--such as pedophilia--will also likely change. Most consider pedophilia repulsive today I'd say, but in 40 years the landscape may be quite different.

You may be a witness to history on the move right now. Who was that government official who recently got identified for allegedly messing with the under-age pages? I think he confessed he was gay, so now you can almost hear the quandary of the USA as they mull this over. "Well, we can't really prosecute this, because now it's a protected gay rights issue, isn't it?"

Is this history in the making? Was a very visible door just cracked open towards nationwide acceptance of pedophilia? I don't know...innocent until proven guilty, and I'm not judging. But it's very interesting. Stay tuned and watch.

in most societies, people do not marry thier aunts, that is considered too close of a relative,,,,, other then that, is there an age difference? often an aunt is like a second mother,,,, was there a mother/child relationship? finally, as to the physical,,,,,, there is more chance of passing on an inherited disease (if there is one in the family),,, while neither person may have that disease/condition,,, they may both carry the gene for it

If she is too old to have children, then I say go for it. The most important thing is that you cannot reproduce or you could do something good for the world like getting neutered..

I wouldn't advise doing so - just because it's weird. I'm not going to tell you you're wrong, but I'm just saying I would never go for my aunt... that's just creepy.

Go for it. Very important to keep it in the family. Is she a m.i.l.f.?
Make sure your gene pool is...shall I say very small. Makes for excellent babies. If you do have babies have them overseas and live there so I don't have to pay for your diluted children.
