They may "appear pure", but they're not! Our sinful nature is inherent from birth, based on the sin-curse placed upon Adam and Eve upon their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. The difference is that they're not born with the capacity to understand where they stand with God, therefore the spiritual environment they're raised in has a lot to do with how society as a whole is formed up over the course of time. Though they "learn the crap" from their surroundings, we as Christian parents are charged by God to "train up a child in the way it SHOULD go (SHOULD being the operative word). When it grows old, it will not depart." Meaning that if a child embraces Spirit-led teaching as a child, the parents have done their duty and the child will have the foundation it needs to grow in God after finding salvation through repentance, water baptism, sanctification, and being indwelt by the Holy Ghost.

I was thinking of something quite similar last night. There were stories about babies being raised by a pack of wolves. Im not sure whether its a fact or myth. But yea, it should've bahaved like wolves right? I mean, values and personality are inculcated with past influences and experience right? The children you are talking about would probably feel weird without knowing why r they different i guess. But once they get to know the difference, without the experience of having racism or craps, they would not be prejudice. That's just human nature, to fear. Like how some people fear aliens or UFO's cos they are different from human. But to promote racism is just the thorn. But i dont believe in UFOs..ha.

Yes, sadly most prejudice is a result of nurture rather than nature and yes, parents and other influences who spout off racist remarks do influence children. It is a shame, and as the father of interacial kids who are about to enter the education system, I hope things get better soon. Fortunately, my family accepts the fact that my wife is black and loves her, and that is a great thing.
