Can a quartz crystal be differnt types at once?

Yes, quartz crystals can be many different types at once depending on how they were formed and how they appear now. These differences are due to imperfections, bumps, angles and inner rainbows, doorways, etc. These all change how the crystal will interact and channel energy. Yes! especially the Tourmaline! It has electric properties! It is called piezoelectric, when you heat or compress the ends the stone will vibrate and have a different electric charge on either end, you can see small fibers of dust will cluster to the end when you rub or heat or compress the stone, it used to be used to clean ashes from fine pipes because it could clean by attracting the ashes! It comes in many different colors sometimes exhibiting several at once.
