security is a much sought after job in the casinos and very competitive, you must be bonded to work in most jobs in las vegas involved in casinos and you need far more training than the average guard card. for every position that opens up there are literally hundreds of applicants.. generally preference is given to individuals that have law enforcement or armored carrier experience.

i dont know what it pays but security is not a highly paid job, there are thousands of those jobs available out here though, i dont know how fast you can move up.
