Just for fun, list reasons that led you to believe your current ___ (boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, wife, husband) was "the one" for you.

For me, it was the little things. When I was injured recently, my fiance took off work to cook my meals, shampoo/condition, dry AND straighten my hair, etc.

(I'm not sure what will determine best answer for this one, perhaps a response so cute it makes me sick.)

You'll know if that person is the one when you enjoy their company all the time. When you challenge each other on a mental level. When you're able to talk to each other and trust each other's opinions. If you have similar morals and beliefs. When you share the idea that you and that person is one entity against the world. Not, one will take care of the other.

If you've been through good times and bad and you can't see your life without that person. Then that partner is the one for you.

Because we didn't have to try to get along it just happened. Because she made me not only want to be a better man but inspired changes in me and the way I thought so in many ways I became a better man. It was a connection so close that I could tell here anything and felt the need to share everything with her, both good and bad about myself. Because for the first time the love was real and it wasn't selfish, it was for all the right reasons. For the first time in my life I looked forward to everyday because I knew she would be there. Because she was just herself and it was more than I could have ever wanted to find in a woman. She would look at me and it was like she was looking into me just the same as when I looked at her. She never had to do anything for me to find her sexy, she just was naturally. It felt like when she was in love with me that the windows and doors to my soul had been blown open and the winds from it held me and made me feel safe in it all. It was the way I fell in love with her over and over again and she wasn't acting or trying to make it that way, it just simply was. It was in the way we held one another and couldn't tell who was holding who. For all of our differences we complimented one another seamlessly and in that respect fit like a hand in a glove. From the tears of just pure joy waking up with her in my arms for the first time and being able to share an unbridled love with no fear of getting crushed by it. The way she thinks and her stand she takes in what she believes in. Her inability to see the bad in people and focus on the good. The fact that for the first time in my life I actually wanted to live to be an old, old man just so I could spend that much more time with her, sharing in her life and being a part of it. Simply because she was and is the most amazing woman I have ever met and she never even tried to be, she just is. This and because even though she is gone, the love she introduced me to and helped me to find has yet to let go of me. Because I am still standing and waiting and have yet to meet any other woman that can even come close to holding a candle to her. Because it was true and real when so much in this world is petty and fake. She was the happiest moments of my entire life and because I just cannot stop loving her even if she never knows, or notices. Because it will not let me go even when I have fought it off with everything I can. Because it always was, and always will be her for me. She was everything I dreamed of and more than I could ever imagined possible. Because she saved me from myself, even when everyone else had given up including me. Because for me, she is and always was, simply the one.

Our first date was a blind date and in the middle of it I asked her if she would pull my finger...hopefully you know what that means...nevertheless, pull it she did! Ten months later we were married and now years later we have five kids!!!

The way he first kissed me and made me get flutters in my stomach, the way he holds me after we made love and never leaving my side when I needed him the most.
