Yes. I believe almost any US fighter/bomber aircraft is capable of carrying a nuclear payload. Unconfirmed reports indicate that some US fighter/bomber aircraft carried missiles with sub-kiloton warheads. Another unconfirmed report indicates the SR-71 Blackbird secretly carries a nuclear missile for "emergency" situations.

Any new fighter/bomber aircraft can be outfitted with nuclear weapons and even mounted with lasers/direct energy weapon systems.

F-35, a multi-role aircraft that can perform close air support, tactical bombing, and air-to-air combat duties now performed by aircraft like the F-16 , F-18 and AV-8B.In most cases, the JSF it will act as a "bomb truck" that will attack ground targets once the skies have been cleared of any enemy fighter threat by dedicated air superiority fighters like the F-22 Raptor,F-15 Eagle.

It might be possible to load "tactical nuclear weapons",but i doubt that it will replace a bomber like B-1,B2 as a strategic bomber.

A jet fighter not able to carry a nuke is worse than a donkey cart.
You do not have planes to hunt pigeons and doves in air. They are to counter any threat from an equivalent enemy.
And by the way what are the nukes for? Just to store and spend heavy amount waiting for their shelf-life to expire?
Any modern plane made in USA are for Israel first and Israel will not accept a non-nuke plane.... Simpler than mathematics.

The US wouldn't make a jet that couldn't carry a nuke.
