Priests help us bear spiritual fruit when they administer the sacraments, something that is way beyond tiny bigotted minds to comprehend.

All Catholic seminaries must screen out applicants for any homosexual tendencies, because they were not as well equipped to do so before. Protestant bible colleges have no screening process nearly as strict, if at all.

The ratio of "fruit" priests is far less than the ratio of "fruits" in the general population.

One study shows 46% more scripture read at Mass than any Protestant service. It's obvious you have never been to a Mass, nor have ever had a chat with a priest, yet you feel qualified to make such insane remarks about priests. Priests require 7 years of study before ordination, so yes, they do know the Bible.

What you are saying is Jesus is a fruit because He wasn't married, unless you are a Duh Vinci Codian moron.
Paul wasn't married. I guess he didnt know the
Bible either, right Derek?

Peace!
Jesus Christ was unmarried and celibate. So was St. Paul. Priestly celibacy is not an unchangeable dogma but a disciplinary rule. The Church allowed priest to marry before but the practice was discontinued because of abuses.
Celibacy has a Biblical basis.
1 Corinthians 7,27-34 - Paul makes a case for preferring celibacy to marriage: "Are you free from a wife? Do not seek marriage ..."
1 Corinthians 7, 38 - Paul concludes that celibacy is better: He who marries "does well; and he who refrains from marriage will do better."

Do you realize how bad it is to multiply? Have you noticed that there's 6.5 billion people on this planet and that we're slowly running out of resources?

So what makes you think having many children is a good thing?

As for the rest, not all priests are pedafiles and those that are should have their thing cut off and they should face prison for the rest of their lives. Let them be boy toys for the prison population. Death is too good for them.

Priests tend to know the Bible fairly well. Did you know that the Bible says to judge not, lest ye be judged? Or to stop worrying about the splinter in your brother's eye and pay attention to the plank in your own?

The Catholic Church, based by potential of our Lord Jesus Christ together as he lived in the international, compiled the bible; in case you don't be attentive to that, then you definately don't be attentive to history. The Catholic Church compiled the bible, identifying which books have been inspired and that have been no longer, decrease than the coaching of the Holy Spirit; the comparable Holy Spirit that our Lord Jesus Christ promised St. Peter (the 1st pope) and the Apostles (whose successors are the bishops of at present) could instruction manual the Church He replaced into founding till He got here lower back in glory on the top of the international. you're performing as though the Holy spirit now no longer is latest interior the Church Christ based. a real Christian can not have self belief that; if he does, his faith is empty. Priestly celibacy, the promise to no longer marry, is in basic terms a self-discipline of the Church. inspite of the shown fact that it has existed for one thousand years, the pope, guided by potential of the Holy Spirit, might desire to choose for the next day that it is not serving people the suited way and eliminate the self-discipline (very no longer likely, of direction). Disciplines can be replaced; this is doctrines, the truths of the religion by potential of revelation, that on no account substitute. by potential of ways, St. Paul for sure states that this is extra advantageous for the real servants of God to no longer marry; extra advantageous study that New testomony lower back! P.S. just to sparkling up yet another curiously hardship-loose false impression repeated by potential of others right here: commonplace monks, like people who run maximum parishes on your diocese, do no longer take vows in any respect, and on no account a vow of poverty. in basic terms monks, sisters and brothers in non secular orders take vows (poverty, chastity, obedience). Secular (diocesan) monks make 2 solemn supplies you: to no longer marry and to obey their bishop. inspite of the shown fact that their salaries and reimbursement are no longer plenty, they are loose to maintain regardless of sources they gathered earlier ordination and regardless of earnings might derive from those or from bequests interior the destiny, purely such as you and me. by using fact that they artwork such long and confusing schedules for God's people, besides the undeniable fact that, this is somewhat no longer likely that they had make any exterior money whilst they advance into monks, besides the undeniable fact that that is sheer lack of know-how to fault them for enjoying the healthy comforts of existence which you do.
