First of all, you really don't want to pop a zit in your ear. It will drain all on it's own when it's ready. Apply a hot washrag- as hot as you can stand it, as often as you can stand it, until it drains on it's own. If you mess with it before then, you can rupture it beneath the skin and just make matters worse. Then instead on one zit causing pain, your entire ear can become infected and swollen. That pain will make the zit feel good in comparison. If it is that large, heat should get it to drain within a day at the most- and it will feel better the instant it happens. Meantime, whatever you do- don't poke or squeeze it. If it's not ready to drain, the pain will be excruciating, and you will not like the result. Heat it up and wait it out.

Best to not pop it at all, however tempted. Unlikely to do it without pain, anyway, and pus is laden with staph bacteria. Better to do away with the staph another way than to have it inside your ear. In my teens I had a lot of problems like what you describe.

Might use a dab of rubbing alcohol on it [dries the skin] and see if it will help. Might also use a drop or two of sesame oil on it [will lubricate, soften the skin. It also kills germs and is bacteriostatic]. I have used neosporin or other triple antibiotic but those can clog the ears - too wax-like. Vinegar's another good germ killer due to its acid pH level. Just a drop or two 2 or 3 times a day may help, rubbed onto where the zit is - not put down inside your ear. Hydrogen peroxide helps clean but I don't think it kills germs.

The zit may drain on its own without help. Important to keep your hands/fingers really, really clean if you're having zit problems, and keep them away from your face and ears unless they're really clean. Germs like staph are very easily spread by direct contact.

Popping a zit in your ear could be a dangerous procedure. You are putting yourself at risk for external otitis( Infection of the outer ear).

Try washing your ears with an antibacterial soap, an apply a small amount of benzoyl peroxide(Oxy 10 etc) with a Q-tip twice a day. That should dry out the pimple. It takes a little more time but its safer than popping that zit.
