My friend (as she says) is in love with this guy. But I have a big problem with him. They have a little age difference..say four/five years. He won't date her because of this, but he finds the time to say I love you very much..or you're so beautiful. And these statements just make her feel so great.

Then the next day he forgets what he says to her. Like maybe he doesn't care.. or doesn't bother to remember what he's said.

He likes around 3 girls. But then says he will always love Lily. In the back of my mind I think he's just playing with her. And Im scared that he's going to hurt her. I dont want that

so the question is, should I confront her about my feelings about her situation and try to prevent her from getting hurt?

Yeah if he's not dating her, he's not that into her. Would you NOT date someone you really like? She probably knows the answer to that too, but the best thing you can do as a friend is nothing. Be there to support her and when he does hurt her, be there to console her, but nothing you say is going to make her feel differently. Unfortunately our friend's don't care to hear our advice and it may even irritate her. Then when she is upset, she won't want to go to you because she'll be afraid of the "I told you so" speech. Just learn from her mistakes and try not to worry about it.

Yes absolutely! don't wait another minute...call her now! That is sick...mind games are for the jedi...not lame *** older men that like having control. I would hope that my friend would tell me. Realize though that she will try to deny it at first and get a little mad, but you know she will think about it the next time it happens. She will come to see his true colors, and realize you were right! Best of Luck!
