I use it at night and during the day. I've got dry skin that will over-oil itself to the point of acne. After I use Pro-Activ at night, I'll use the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture if my skin feels too tight or dry. But I usually put it on before I apply make up so the foundation goes on smooth.

Experiment....my take has always been that facial moisturizers, despite having an SPF level could be used for night-time as well.

All sun blockers contain cancer causing agents so I would not suggest using them at night as well as day time. If you have really fair skin then you may need the coverage during the day as a protective but I wouldn't think it would be good to overload your body with some things that aren't very good for you to being with.Very few people are aware of how harm full sun blockers can be so best wishes and I hope you find a cream that is more natural and not harmful to you.

I use sea buckthorn oil every night - it contains almost identical (if not identical) oil molecules as our own skin. You know - all those lipids and pentapeptides that those stupid anti-ageing adverts keep going on about ! It moisturises dry areas and helps prevent us over-producing oil in our T-Zone. As well as lots of other good stuff.

It's 100% natural, has a shelf life of 5 years so no nasty preservatives, has tons of potent anti-oxidants, 10 times the amount of vit c as oranges, as well as Omega's 9, 6, 3 & 7 (very rare) plus vitamin K, P , Folic Acid plus some (can't remember them all) Cosmonauts use it to protect themselves from radiation burns - etc etc

Amazing stuff for your skin, everyone should have some in their medi cabinet. Read upon it and you'll never use anything else!

I buy it from here even though they're selling it for rosacea ... http://www.rosacea-remedy.com ...because it's just undiluted sea buckthorn oil and lasts forever.

i would not alway use a sunscreen on by body inless i am in the sun. to many chemicals that will/can be absorbed into the skin.
So when possible use a cream without SPF.
