this guy liked me for many years and i didn't know and i was involved with another guy until he moved out of the country. so i was single and this other guy who liked me asked me to go to his house for cocktail and swim in the pool... we drank a lot and we necked but then i felt ill and just left without telling him why. later on i told him i got ill but he doesn't seem interested in my any longer. Do you think he feels rejected or does he feel I'm too flaky for him ? I think it is both but i'd like your opinion . thank you

Maybe he liked you so much because you were unattainable for a long period of time and then once you were available you went 2 too fast and his interest fizzled out cause you only played with his emotions and didn't finish the act that he wanted . Some guys only like the chase

Not only did you spoil his night by not jumping right into bed with him, you also ruined his illusion of what he thought he wanted. You said that he liked you for several year, but you were involved with someone else. When he actually got what was unattainably to him for so long, he probably figured out that what kept him interested for so long was the chase of it all. Not to say that he didn't have feelings for you, but he wasn't having to work for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow anymore, in his mind he got it, and now he is ready for something else to challenge him like you did when he couldn't have you.

Maybe make the next move. Ask if he'd like to go out to dinner or something. This will show that you are interested. If he turns you down, take that as a sign that he's lost interest. Then you'll know for sure.
