I think is people as a whole distancing Mexican and non Mexican communities.
If you three immigrants, one from Mexico, one from china and one from Poland I assure you would pick the Mexican to be the illegal when in fact there are many other people here that are illegal and not from Mexico, but they just happen to blend in.

Did you ever go to a Chinese restaurant and think the people cooking your food where illegal?

It's really simple, the vast majority of all the other communities are legal immigrants who came here to make a better life for themselves and their families and expected to become a part of the American society and have done so. However they see on the other side a group that is constantly trying to usurp immigration laws, and demand that American society change to suit them and are always looking for a handout, and they don't want to be associated with that sort of attitude.

Because there is a growing backlash that has risen from things like these marches and just general attitudes.
Some know that this may come to a boil and im sure they don't want to be in the way when that happens.

Because they know that Mexican illegal aliens have high drug use/selling and theft rate goes up...NOT to mention the fact that there are over 15 adults in ONE home, and an unlimited number of kids there. They live in filth!

Because the mexican illegals (by far the largest group) are getting a lot of attention right now. If you were illegal, wouldn't you want to avoid a lot of attention?

I love these kinds of questions:

What do you mean by "distancing" and what evidence do you have to support what you are saying.

I say that because of the media and the over whelming population growth with mexican immigrants that non-mexican immigrant communities are distancig themselves because they becoming prejudice towards them. They are scared that hispanics will take over, and now they not only see them as a third rate citizen but a 5th rate citizen. It has alot to do with our countries past and the way it oppresses minorities.
