i wanted to know if downloading music of the internet is a good idea. if you can answer this question it would me alot ot me, thank u.

Limewire itself does not contain any spyware.
When you run the program, be careful not to download something in your search results that looks fishy. Searching for practically anything will give you ridiculous results such as "STEVEN SPIELBERG GETS PRANKED" and all other kinds of tomfoolery, in addition to legitimate search results.
Just keep a watchful eye for search results that do not seem to be what you were looking for and you should have no problem getting any viruses or other malware.

hey i think u have 80% of chances of getting virus from limewire and more over if u install limewire u get the spyware too.......and u r system becomes slow comparing it with b4... so be careful after downloading the music try to use scan or antivirus for it.......hope u got ur answer.....

while downloading music you can get a virus but even worse you can be find for pirating copy righted music
there is a 16yr old boy just been fined $30,750 for just doing what your asking ask yourself is it worth it?

I hear that this is where you get your viruses my sons downloaded from there and they had to get whole computer done over

Yep. All sorts of bad things will happen. Downloading music is not a good idea since it is STEALING, and ILLEGAL.
