Why do African-American men date white women when the sisters are so incredibly gorgeous?

I mean, African-American women have style, attitude, and just down & out beauty. White girls sooo booring.

Being in a predominant white county, we area automatically taught that white is the most superior race. There was this movie about Brown v. Board of Education, where African American children were asked to pick between a white and black doll. All the children picked the white doll being prettier and nicer. So a lot of African American guys were born subconsciously preferring the more seemingly prominent race. I mean obviously you picked a white avatar over a darker skinned one. Also the media highly affects our perceptions of what's attractive. Caucasians dominate the media more than African Americans. It's only been the last couple of decades that African Americans started appearing regularly in the media. But a lot of the times, minorities are depicted in a negative and strongly biased way. So men develop their perception of women through the media.

No disrespect to my sistas out there, but MANY Black women can be REAL b1tches when they're pissed off and might want to kick ya @$$! I still got love for the sistas, though. I love women of ALL races, HOWEVER, to me, I PREFER Black women because I, my DAMN self, AM Black, and Latinas of ALL colors. Why? Because, here in the United States, Blacks and Latinos have A LOT in common: we're discriminated against MOSTLY by Caucasians who're of Anglo, German, Dutch, or Irish ancestry, many poor Blacks and Latinos live in areas where there are high crime rates and low property values aka "The 'Hoods" or "The Ghettos", successful Blacks and Latinos CAN"T get into colleges and universities that are PREDOMINANTLY White WITHOUT affirmative action, BOTH race groups get called the notorious n-word (many Latinos get called that too because many of them have skin tones that are similar to ours and are of some African ancestry, and so forth. Hey, I'm just stating the facts!

I beg to differ. I think black woman are absolutely beautiful, but it's their attitude that make them unattractive. I'm not saying all of them have the attitude. Just the one's from the inner-city. White women are absolutely beautiful too, but there seems to be a more diverse attitude among them.

Well, since you're using English, I'll assume you're thinking of English-speaking countries, of which most have (if not all) more white girls in them than black girls.

The only conclusion here is that there are simply MORE white girls than black girls, so OF COURSE black men would end up dating white women.

Are you trying to say that black men should automatically date black women, just because they're black? Black men should go out of their way to date a minority girl?

You're making assumptions, but may not be aware of it.

Maybe the ones they have met have to much sass...
In every group / race, the majority will find their own kind best looking with an enlightened / different few who can see beauty in another race / group. I applaud these people. We need more people to blur the colour and racial lines and teach the world to walk the equality walk.. This world is more beautiful and insteresting because we are all so different.

Just asked me brother and he says because white woman are easy(they give it to anyone) and just so easy to control. So the brothers who are insecure about seeing a strong woman often run to the white girls.

I really don't want to offend anybody with this post, so please don't get mad at me or think I'm racist because I'm white.

My boyfriend goes to a school in Northern Utah and has a lot of friends who are African-American. He asked them "So why would you rather date a white girl instead of a black girl?" and this is what they said (cross my heart, I'm not making this up):

His friends responded, "Mostly because white girls aren't gold diggers. Plus they don't nag as much. And they're actually willing to work for a living."

This is NOT my opinion, I'm just telling you what they said.
