Within the next 3 years I am moving from the USA to Australia and I want to know how exactly I am suppose to get my things there?

I am probably going to sell all my furniture and use the money I make from that to buy new furniture but I need to take things like my sons toys, his fire engine bed, his little hummer if he still fits in it, my computer and stuff that is important/valuable to me.

What exactly can I take on a plane with me? I would really like to keep things with me such as my sons baby stuff like pictures, his baby box and birth certificate. Will they allow that in a bag on board with me? I really do not want to take a chance of losing stuff like that

Yeah, you can bring the baby pictures with you with a bag. About the the computers, if it is laptop then you can carry it with you, if it is a home computer one, maybe you'll have to packed with the heavier baggage. Dont they have any one of those company that help you moved, or thats only in the country only and not internation? Dunno..
