How do I obtain on the internet, my boarding pass for flight 1290 Southwest Airlines for tomorrow, Feb. 1, 2007 leaving San Diego for Oakland, CA at 11:05 a.m.?

Go to http://www.southwest.com/ and click on travel tools at the top. Then click on Check In Online/Print Boarding Pass..You will need the confirmation number and a printer.

SW airlines does not assign seats. You have a boarding zone. You line up where your boarding zone is (1-10, 11-20, etc.), with whatever group LETTER (A B or C) and you go snag your own seat as you get on the plane. Just have your boarding pass printed so you can get into the airport. Look for the boarding "zone" number on it. EDIT: A is better than C. The A group goes first. Then it's numeric A1-10, A11-20, etc. HTH D

You can't get a boarding pass from the internet. You get your "ticket" from the internet and pick up your boarding pass when you check your luggage in,or from one of the kiosk in the airport using your drivers liscense.
Make sure you get there at least 2 1/2 hours before your flight.

Should be able to go in an print your boarding pass? If not call the airlines and ask how to do it and do it while you have the airline rep. on the phone. I had trouble doing it and when I called, I got help.

You go to, www.southwest.com,(copy
and paste it if you want) then you click on "Book a Flight", then you click one way, then where it says "from" you put san diego, and where it says "to" you put oakland. You then press go and follow instructions.
If you have already booked this flight, and you want to check in, you go to the same website, and click "check in online" and then follow instructions (you must have the confirmation number, and first and last name, you also need a printer.)
