There are far more people going to hell than to heaven. Wouldn't it make more sense to use us for his own personal army against the minority in heaven? This is after that whole big battle takes place the Christians believe will happen. Even if Satan loses that great battle they await, he has eternity to come up with another attack plan with all his troops, right? That's what I would do if I were Satan.

You can go ahead and tell me this is a dumb question, but I already know it is.

Some good questions in there.

It's not the number of people that determine who wins. It's that God is more powerful than Satan. Also, there are two good angels for every bad angel.

I'm not sure what you mean by Satan torturing 'us' but on earth I imagine he would hope to make your life bad and hope you blame God for it. And as for hell: Hell/the lake of fire are designed for Satan (not by him). It wasn't intended that humans go there but that is the only option if they choose to remain sinners.

Satan will raise an army. He will be defeated and then he will be cast in the lake of fire from which he can not escape and therefore will only have time for regret and not raising an army.

So you can choose to accept that Christ died to pay for your sins or by default you choose to pay for your own sins (spiritual death - the lake of fire).

All the best.

It is not a dumb question at all it is actually a valid question, but Satan does not get another chance at all, his Judgement is coming, he will be bound in the abyys with his angels who also turned on God, they will all be bound up in the abbyss awaiting total destruction there,Satan and his followers will not, get. another chance to mess with God or humans, we are now living in their last part of their chance to prove their wicked challenge! Satan has no hope of winning, nor will he get any assignments ever again!
Most religions do teach, that bad people will go to a fiery Hell of eternal torture Hell Do you know that even good people go to Hell when they die? Hell is really just the common grave of mankind,
Have you ever seen someone tortured? Hopefully not! Deliberate torture is sickening and abhorrent. What, though, of torture inflicted by God?Can you imagine such a thing? Yet this is exactly what is implied by the teaching of Hell an official doctrine of many religions.
Imagine for a moment, the following horrific scene:A person being roasted on a hot iron plate. In his agony he screams for mercy, but nobody listens. The torture goes on and on, hour by hour, day by daywithout any pause!Whatever chrime the victim may have committed, would not your heart go out to him? What of the one who ordered the torture? Could he be a loving person? In no way!Love is mercyfull and shows pity. A loving father may punish his children, but he would never torture them!
Nevertheless, many religions teach that God tortures sinners in endlesshellfire. This is claimed, is devine justice. If thatis true, who created that terrible place of eternal torment? And who is responsible for the excruciating agonies inflicted there? The answer would seem obvious. If such a place really exists, then God would have to be the creator of it, and he would be responsible for what happens there.
Can you accept that? The Bible says:"God is Love"(1John4:8)Would a God of love inflict torture that even humans with any measure of decency find revolting? Surely not! Still, many believe that the wicked will go to a fiery hell and be tormented for ever. Is this teaching logical? The human life span is limited to 70 or 80 years. Even if someone perpetrated Extreme wickedness for his entire lifetime, would everlasting torment be a just punishment? No it would be grossly unjust to torment a person forever for the limited number of sins that he can commit in a lifetime.
Who knows the truth about what happens after we die?
Only God can reveal this information, and he has done so, in his written word the Bible. Here is what the Bible says:"As the[beast]dies, so the[man]dies; and they all have but one spirit......All are goingto one place. They have all come from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust

When CHRIST returns it will be for the Judgment, not for a BaTTlE. Satan will not be in charge of HELL, GOD will be. Satan will be there tortured with the rest of those who are unwilling to follow what GOD has told each and every one of us to do while here on earth. You still have an opportunity to follow HIS WILL.

Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
HEAR - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
BELIEVE - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
REPENT - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
CONFESS CHRIST - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
BE BAPTIZED - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.

Satan rebelled against God one time and was defeated and cast out of heaven. His main goal since that time has been to corrupt as many as will listen to him. He and his army (whose number is as the sands of the sea) will one day, march up to the holy city to attempt to take it, but "a fire shall rain down from God out of heaven and destroy them". (Rev.)
At this time, satan will have no more power for all eternity and the ones that are cast out with him will never again have the option to choose where they spend eternity.

This is not a dumb question.

Satan is not going to be "in charge" in Hell, he is going to be in the fire with everyone else. He willfully disobeyed God and although he dearly would like to be on the most high throne, he never, ever will be.

What you must understand that is that Satan HATES you. He is going to laugh at anyone in Hell with him, he will not think they are his "good buddies and pals." He HATES all of humanity because we are given a chance to choose Christ every minute of everyday that we live. Satan got one chance, and he blew it. He stood in the face of God and rebelled against him, so there are no second chances for him.

I will clarify for you.

1 John 5:18-20 states: "We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."

The devil can't physically touch Christians because he has no power to destroy anyone protected by God, however he can tempt Christians who don't know how to sccessfully resist him. His "attack plan" is in action right now, it is not physical but it deals with tempting Christians to fall from their beliefs.

Some are under the impression that the devil rules all of hell and seeks pleasure from torturing people. The truth is, he wants as many people to suffer as him. And yes, he is suffering because he was condemned by God to the fiery depths of hell. If you've read any scriptures, you would know the devil (Lucifer) is a fallen angel.

Satan will not torture anyone. This results from a misunderstanding of the representations of hell and Satan in scripture. Hell is not a big torture chamber, and Satan is not a torturer.

hey i'm still on "if"???????????? if voodoo priests can turn you into a zombie then why did we need rock and roll...? what's with the Ifs so frequently encountered only in religious questions.
How about no ifs ands or buts just factual evidence and knowledgable logic by reasonable account. Should I say what if history doesn't bear out the bible or scientific fact doesn't concur with biblical pretense when I know it to be generally accepted fact.

The fact is .....Satan will not torture you..He will be in torment himself...Those who reject God will just be in the same circimstance as he is...The concept of Satan torturing people in Hell is false.
