Depression is something that should be taken seriously. There are some things that you can do to help release saratonin in the body. Daily exercise can help increase your mood, talking about it can help too, is there a group you can reach out to? Is there a councelor or school guidance counselor you can speak with about it? A support system would help you a lot and it sounds that you can't get that from your parents.
The best thing you can do is talk to someone who can help, if you need medication or other forms of treatment, they will be able to assist.

There is nothing wrong with being depressed. When it starts to negatively affect your life, then it is time to worry, and try to seek help. It is a shame that you cant discuss it with your parents. Here are some good things to do to try to get yourself out of a funk:
1. Try not to think so much. The melancholy can creep up to you if your mind races, and focuses on negative aspects of your life. Think instead about short memories that you cherish.
2. Tell a friend. If you dont have any friends, consider writing a pen pal. There are cool people all over the world who would like to have someone to talk to.
3. Do something constructive that you never thought you would do. Something totally off the wall. Learn how to make an origami crane, or something to that effect. Origami has long been thought to be a source of great meditation, and personal satisfaction.
4. realize that as bad as it is, as bad as it may seem, there is always something there that is unseen, that is off in the distance, that is going to make you happy. Youre current state of mind is not really allowing you to focus on positives right now, but you must at least realize they are out there.

You are not a dog. You do not need to be told to "speak." You must speak to someone about this. You're not even speaking to your self, are you? Not your true self. Your true self wants to save you. Is that untrue? I wish I could assure you somehow---that you're the saviour of your soul. Don't quit hoping. There is always hope. One thing I'd advise you to do is---find the wisest, most compassionate person you know, write a short list of your feelings and ask them to discuss at least one thing and do it sincerely. Your very life is in danger.

Maybe your parents will surprise you if you try to talk to them. You need to talk to somebody right away, it sounds very serious. Maybe another relative could help you approach your parents, because your parents are going to have to back you up if you are going to get help for your depression. They are going to have to authorize and finance the help you receice. So, go to them one way or another.
