This one will make you laugh, Carl, and let you know you're not alone. I had the same problem in 7th grade when I really liked this beautiful girl named Elizabeth. During lunch period one day, I had the inspiration to write her a note on a Frito (of all things, and it's not easy to do) and coerced my best friend to take it to her. When he did, she read my Frito note and smiled at me. Bingo, it happened! She walked over to me and said, "I think you're really nice and smart and cute, and yes, I'll go to the dance with you." We had a wonderful time, and I never needed Frito notes after that. I had the courage to walk right up to a girl and say what my heart felt. I hope you find a way to do it too.

ok, there are a few different ways to ask a girl out.

1) go in a group of friends so it's not really a date, it's just going out with a few friends.
2)if it's just you and her, something easy like going out to get coffee or lunch.
3) make an excuse like theres a really good movie you would like to see and ask her if would she like to go
(ps on the movie you might want to choose a movie that she might enjoy)
4) ask her want to she likes to do hobbies like bike riding, ice skating, etc, etc and then ask her to go
5) make an excuse like you need to buy something for your mom, and you have no clue what to buy her and ask her would she like to go shopping and give some advice.

Take a big swallow and walk right up to her and say:
Hi my name is (if she does not know you or you have not been formally introduced). I would really be honored if you would go out with me to have coffee or a dinner some time. Here is my number and there is no pressure for you to call, but I would appreciate you calling me soon. Thank you.
If that is too hard to say- you can write it on a nice card and give her a flower with it or a tiny bear. Do not forget to sign your name or have your number on it!

You're nervous around girls huh? Pretend not to be. Girls like confidence. Even to the point of being a di*k- just be confident. Fake it. Make them laugh, talk for a couple minutes, and then ask them for their number. A couple of days later you call them up, make them laugh, be confident, and ask them out.

walk up to her and introduce yourself,if she does not already know you.be yourself and natural.
tell her something nice you noticed about her(not sexual ie boobs etc)like her smile or how well she performed in the basket ball game or whatever and take it from there.
a little shyness could be attractive to a nice girl.fear of rejection is normal, but you can handle it!(hope it doesnt come to that)
good luck

do not think about it. Just do it.

"Hi Jane, would you like to go out with me? maybe just to Starbucks or any place , so we can talk. I'd like to get to know you better. I'd like you to know me."

Good luck.... you can do it. " YOU THE MAN"

if you can wait, it's almost valentine's day and use that as an excuse to ask her out.
