I use audiobooks. I listen to one that helps improve my memory. Found it on a P2P program, and in the middle of it, when you're getting the jist of the material, another voice comes on, so you have 2 voices talking at the same time in both ears, it's pretty weird! Maybe try searching for "memory audiobook" or something. I just searched for "audiobook".

READ!. Read everything you can. Also try not to do the same thing over and over. Like when you drive home in the evening from work. Try to use alternate routs. Keeps the mind thinking, will not get use to it. Keep from being repetitive.
