Yes, it is possible. It sounds like you do have Lupus, I know that there are many many doctors out there that think its sooo uncommon for someone to have it, I'm telling you I know it exists! If you have it there are many things that you can do to make life easier on yourself! :)
It is possible for you to hav emore than one at the same time, my mother has Lupus, Diabeties, cardiomyopothy, and did have pulminary hypertension, but that has gotten much better.
There are a lot of support groups especially ont he net for lupus, you should research them.
Best of luck to you! Remember, no matter what the result is, you can over come it, you will be fine, and you will press forward.

It is entirety possible to have more then one auto immune disease, but Fibromyalgia is not an autoimmune. I have Fibromyalgia and it is just a darn word for I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU HURT! If you have Lupus, then most likely you don't have fibromyalgia. Lupus carries a lot of the same symptoms as FMS and is most likely ruled out when you get another diagnosis like Lupus. Your doctor was wrong to diagnose you with Fibromyalgia before he ran all The blood tests. FMS can only successfully be diagnosed when all blood work for arthritis and Lupus and autoimmune diseases are negative and you "pass" the pressure point test. Good luck to you , though. I really don't know what would be worse, but from my experience if you had an autoimmune at least people wouldn't think you made up the FMS. Trust me...people think you are just a wimp with FMS and they don't take you seriously. I hope you the best! Good Luck!

Of course it's possible to have more than one autoimmune disease, but lupus can affect any part of the body. Also, all autoimmune disease have pretty much the same treatment. So, you might as well just call it lupus.

You can have multiple autoimmune disorders at once. You can have Lupus, Rheumatoid arthritis,Leukemia,.....all at the same time. There is limit to what you can have at once. That all depends upon the DNA. Hope all turns out well for you.

It is entirely possible. Given that your immune system is already compromised, another immunodeficiency is very likely to occur simply because of its status.
