I'm in highschool, and recently a girl whom I liked before has begun talking to me on instant messenger on almost a daily basis gradually increasing from a few conversations at the beginning of the year ( she used to almost never talk to me before that) and we have really long somewhat meaningful conversations (I guessing she's flirting). We can't exactly talk to each other in class, but we are both on the same sports team and talk occasionally.She also occasionally stares at me when our eyes meet. She seems to be a bit shy (kinda like me, lol), but I am still not too sure. So as I was saying, does she like me? (P.S. She seems to talk about the same thngs with each conversation, (i.e. sports team), which means she can't think of other things to talk about.) is there any way to mix it up a bit? Thanks in advance.
P.S. We've known each other for about 1.25 years.

She likes you. Think of other things to talk about. There has to be something you can come up with. What movies does she like, how about music, what about TV shows? What hobbies do you have outside of school?
Seriously, there is no need to be shy on IM! The worst that can happen is she starts to IM you less because you are not keeping her interested. So think of ways to keep her interested. If she is shy she will probably appreciate you engaging her in conversation. it's quite clear she wants to have those conversations. If you want to take things to the next level be interesting! Then later on ask her out. But you should probably be interesting first!
Oh and I just thought about some other things. Is there anyone in your family who is weird? Any weird (but not creepy) things you or your family members did as children? A cool vacation you went on? Seriously, brainstorm. If you have to make some notes about conversation starters so that if the conversation trails off, you can say something interesting. YOU CAN DO IT! Good luck.

i think she likes you because if she only text messages you and she is to shy to talk to you at school I'm pretty sure she like you especially if you catch her looking at you allot. and if you like her maybe you should try to ask her out you'll never know what can happen.

maybe she really likes as a friend and you can throw in the conversation about what happened in you class i guess
