What do girls like to hear when a random guy comes up and talk you? I think it's weird to just walk up to people and start talking to them, is it girls?

I don't want to hear tired and boring pick up lines. I want to hear honesty, interest and just plain being yourself kind of thing. No over the top fake conversation. Don't promise things you can't backup should the conversation become something else, because that if anything will be a deal breaker.

For me it is a little weird for random guys to just walk up to me and start talking to me but if it happened to me, I would want him to be casual about, keep his cool, introduce himself, talk to me as if he was talking to a future friend, ask some questions, answer some questions, and just try to be who he is and don't worry about where it goes, if nothing else you just made a new friend.

no, not really. most people will do it but, myself i cant be too bothered.
- just be confident, comfortable with yourself, be friendly and nice, kinda charming ( : having a good general sense of humour is always good. then progress from there.
just look happy be smiling, make good eye contact.
