Average weight for a mini dachshund is from 10 to 12 lbs. Standard dachshunds can tip the scales at 35 yo 45 lbs

That depends. I have a female mini that is 7 lbs and a male "tweenie" that is about 16 lbs.

depends. minis can be up to 15, even though that's a fat one. and i would consider standards to be medium-size dogs. they get to be pretty big. like maybe 25 pounds.
