Usually the girl asks that guy if the theme of the dance is a Sadie Hawkins dance. But if shes is going alone then I guess ask her!

There's a reason why it's called a Sadie Hawkins dance. If you know she's going alone just ask her if she'd rather not go alone & tell her she can ask you to go. That will give her the opportunity to ask you if she wants to.

Well, its obvious chicks are suppose to ask the guys, and not vice-versa.

But hay, if she's going by herself, why not ask her! I'm pretty sure you guys will go. No girl wants to go alone to a Sadies Dance.

Usually, two weeks before is a good time to ask. So, ask in the beginning of April. It gives a girl the time to find something to wear.

Who needs to know who asked who to the dance? If you like him, be glad you didn't have to do the hard part (face possible rejection like men have to do). More power to him.

There's no rule saying that you can't. The girl might just be too scared to ask.
