I hope there is a heaven, so that when I die, I will go there. I always said I would be at peace if I died tomorrow, because I have really tried to be a good Christian, a good person (sister, daughter, lover), and, more importantly, I won't regret doing anything. Not doing more? Perhaps...:)

On the other hand, isn't heaven a place where you will always be at peace? As such, no matter what or where it is, if you were a good person in your life, you will attain it, don't you think?

Anyone who answers YES to this question needs to read the Bible and learn that the hope of those who have died is in a resurrection. A person who does not really die (immortal soul ETC.) has no need of a resurrection. Anyone who believes in an immortal soul DOESN'T believe what the Bible very plainly says and therefore apparently is not a Christian. That creates a paradox. How can someone who doesn't believe what the Bible says have a hope of going somewhere that the Bible doesn't give them the choice of???

Guess what ?
I do include God in my life and still Im going to hell.
Also what you're saying is judgeing which is a sin in itself.
There is such a thing as people following Gods words without believeing in his excistence.
Some would have a better chance in going to heaven then I ever would.
Lets say I did every sin in the book except I believed in GOD.
Well the Devil does the same thing.

Now lets say a person didn't believe in God but never did any other sins.

Who would you think has a better chance Through the pearly gates.

NOT ME!!

It would really depend on which god story happens to be right... If the christian god was real then the results would be very different than if Shiva or Zeus was real.

Personally I kind of hope the mormons are real because they supposedly have no hell, just different layers of heaven.

Not to mention if there is a hell I don't think I'd want to go to heaven either... if I knew that there were billions of people being tortured for eternity and there was nothing I could ever do to help them - that would be hell for me.

No, definately not. I am barely capable of ruling my own life and I certainly have not been chosen as one who will rule over all the rest of mankind as a king or priest. When Jesus calls me from the grave, I will awaken to a cleansed earth.

One of those sad statments...
i hope so. Truely understand the meaning of hell. ..Being a chemical engineer (great understanding of math). Understanding the ability to not understand infinity....and knowing hell is worse than that.

I'm scared i wont' make it. I know what my faults are , but don't have the power to correct it. I consider myself week.

I set a deadline to finish my acts by the time i graduate college (december).....i was fine with that for a bit.....then now..realizing...(being 22) i can die easily before then. Hell..i've almost died 4 times in the past 2 weeks from cars almsot hitting me. I didn't react to it..the driver was the one who in the end saved my life.

It's not fair to put conditions on a question you ask. I am a Christian man who knows for sure where souls go when their flesh body dies.
Yes, they go directly to the Father that gave it. Where God is, that's Heaven.

Good or bad, we all go to Heaven.><>

Yes, I know that I sin and I as for forgiveness everyday, and I realize that He is the only way.

Edit-Paris! Don't be fooled, hell will not have anything good about it. There is NO interaction with other people. Check out the video by Bill Weise for more info on hell, he went there. Follow Jesus and don't be decieved by the devil. I'll pray for you.
