What is wrong with my camera?

Question

I don't think it's the camera as much as my memory card. It used to work great, but now it's saying I can only take 2 or 3 pictures, and I can't find any other pictures on the camera. But when I insert it into my drive (or my printer) it brings up all these other pictures that I have taken a while back, and I've went thought my card memory and my internal memory and earsed everything, is is possible that I just need to buy a new card?

It's possible that your card is filled to near capicity. The pictures that won't show from the camera may have been altered from their original format which is why they don't show up in the viewer, but do show on the computer. It's my guess that you renamed the pictures that were on the card without tranferring them to the computer.

Insert the card in the drive or printer and click START then My Computer. Locate the drive that represents your camera memory card and delete all the pictures on it. Eject the card and reinsert it in the camera and you should have the full capacity again.

Remember to check "delete the flies after transfer" (or whatever equivilant wording there is) when transferring the pictures to the computer.

Did you delete the pictures in your computer or your camera? Open all the pictures on your computer and then delete them. Some cameras have different albums. You may have switched albums and not deleting it right in the camera.
The only other thing, which I thought of before you stated that other pics came up on the computer, was that you have it taking huge pictures (quality). You can only take a few if it’s the best. Make sense? I'm sorry that I cant help you more.... : )

yes i think u need to buy new memory card.
that happened to me. i can only take 20 pictures and when i bought a new card, i can take over 600.
