So this has happened a few times. I'll start liking a guy, i'll like him really badly for a while, then if he starts to show the slightest bit of interest in me, I suddenly change my mind. I just can't stand to be near him. It's really strange, what's goin on!?

You are afraid of commitment. You run from a serious relationship because you don't think you can handle it or you are scared that you will mess up. I don't know if you have had a bad realtionship in the past. If you had then this is what is influencing your way of looking at prospective relationships. You are never going to find any happiness if you don't give yourself the chance to see what is out there.

I had the same problem. It's probably Fear of committment. For me, it was the "thrill of the chase" kinda thing. You try everything to get it and once it's yours, the fun is gone. You just need to search yourself and realize that one day you might do that and end up loosing the love of your life, or someone that you like a lot might do the same to you.

It sounds like you are scared to be in a relationship. It sounds like you are afraid of letting someone into your life. Get out there and take a chance. It is then you will find the most joy in life.

you have a fear of commitment.could be to do with your own family life.make a conscious effort to change if you want to and feel you like someone enough to give it a chance.
on the other hand you are entitled to change your mind,but be very aware of the power you have to inflict real pain and hurt to someone who may not be deserving of such treatment.do not play with anyones emotions,it not nice.if you need to ,get professional help.

Haha, aww... my best friend is the same exact way. she's gone through liking several guys and when they start liking her back, she moves on. i find it funny. i think you just get bored easily and love to challenge yourself and you find some enjoyment in chasing someone and once they stop running, it's too easy for you so you just don't like them anymore.

Maybe you're attracted to the idea that you can't have him because he doesn't like you back. But when he starts to, the fun is over because he's so easy to get.

You may or may not be afraid of commitment.
In all likelihood though, you enjoy the chase. You want people to notice you, but you don't want them to fall in love with you necessarily.
Totally normal (and sometimes fun... :-)
But be careful with these guys' emotions.
