The Internet is not human and therefore cannot be considered a friend..... so instead of wasting the day using ur creativity to come up with these questions as a sad attempt to get "attention".. Here's some advice.....

BACK AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD.... AND TAKE UP A HOBBY OR SOMETHING !!!!

afterall who needs a word to the wise when its the simple ones who need it most...... LIKE YOU !!!!!

P.S

We are sheep because we believe in God? So are Atheists the other flock in the next pasture? Do they all not believe in the same thing too? Just the opposite side of the fence? What is the difference? Why would you say that Christians cannot think outside the box at all? Believe it or not there are a lot of intelligent people in this world that also believe in God

Nope. I can think outside the box. I do so on a daily basis. I've been told by many a Christian that that is my problem. I believe in God but I also don't think I know the truth or proclaim that my way is the only way. I'm not 12, it doesn't really bother me if someone thinks I'm a pooey head. I somehow find the strength to go on.

It's only degrading if someone thinks I don't have a logical thought in my head if I believe in a higher power. It's not enough to get me to stop thinking the way I do though. I respect all points of view and I believe almost all of us have a valid point to share.

As a Christian, I understand the meaning when believers are referred to as "sheep". Given the context of the scripture, it is not demeaning whatsoever.

We are a body of believers, led by Christ, just as sheep are cared for and led by their shepherd. We do this of our own free will, and want Christ to be the head of us.

Secondly, you presume much when you make the statement, "even their God knows they will believe anything." God has an excellent record for telling the truth and fulfilling promises. His goodness, kindness, mercy, and especially His love for us is all the reason for us to trust what He says, and to obey Him. We believe what He tells us because He tells us the truth. So it's not "anything" that we are believing, but His truth.

There is nothing degrading in the Word of God. And by the way, you can be respectful and spell the word "Christian" out. It's not going to hurt you, and you would want us to be respectful of what you believe, would you not? Do us the same favor.

Hi Hetty -
I've been a pastor for 30 plus years. Sheep fits us quite well. We wander hither and yon, get lost, are vulnerable, get tangled in places we don't belong. Sheep have to be kept moving because they crop the grass down so low it will die, unlike cattle. Seems to fit my own life and those I have been honored to serve quite well.
Then again, perhaps I have a prejudice about having the Good Shepherd.

Jesus meant it affectionately. everybody is stupid compared to God. at the same time as that is added as an insult, that is a persecution, and should be presented to the Virgin Mary for the conversion of sinners, the souls in purgatory, or another solid reason. Jesus advised us to have a good time in persecutions! God bless! Dave

Well , every day at work I hear one inmate, or another , calling me a B$#ch - so I guess taunting is not something that bothers me!!
:-}
Call me whatever you desire - and say what you please...

It amazes me that non-believers need to bash those whom choose to believe, or even vice-versa.....

Whatever happened to different strokes for different folks?!!
Grow up people - it's a wonderful world out there , and how great it is to know that everyone is free to think as they so choose!

My favourite saying is:
Judge me all you want - just keep the verdict to yourself!

no, because He's not saying we're sheep....He using the example, He looks after us as a good shepherd does, but He's not say we ARE sheep....Jesus uses a lot examples in the bible....like the parables. Its to give us examples that we are familiar to...

:o)

No I as a CHRISTian do not find it offensive at all. (oh and so you know, the x is a greek symbol meaning CHRIST so you cannot get around it). We are compared to sheep in a thing like...sheep are to sheperds as CHRISTians are to God.Trust me, I am not offended by it at all.
