Great question! Run either a bit of hand lotion or bounce fabric softener sheet through your hair - it works great! Good luck!

Static Guard works great! Its what I've always used. I use it just like hairspray, while I'm brushing.
I've also heard spraying hairspray on your brush before you run it through your hair will cut down on static.

Do you use a cream rinse? That usually takes care of that.
If so....you might also want to dip your hairbrush in a diluted solution of cream rinse and let it dry...so when you brush your hair outside the house....you won't get the static.
They also have cream rinses you can leave in your hair.

Use a humidifier, stay away from wool/leather, use leave in conditioner or a cream type styling product, don't wash your hair every single day (you'll strip it of it's natural oils)...

After you rub lotion on your hands, run your hands through your hair. Works for me.
